New Year’s Resolution….continued….Week 3

Week 3 and still going strong with the all-natural eating!  I LOVE being gluten-free and I have so much energy, I don’t know what to do with it all!  With all this energy, I feel as if I added extra hours to my day; I am more active, more focused and more productive.

I will say, at the end of last week I was fighting off a cold, so I took advantage of my sleep (another perk:  I have been sleeping extremely well over the past two weeks) and slept rather than waking up early to work-out most mornings (although, I was able to squeeze in a few workouts).  However, I plan on waking up by 6am every day this week.  I plan to blog first thing in the morning, then focus on my day job, then blog more in the evening :)   I have to admit, when I thought I was coming down with a cold, I was extremely offended and felt absurdly violated. Sounds crazy, right? I have just been taking such good care of myself, that I felt like it couldn’t be possible that I was actually getting sick!  I was just so upset, I felt like I had failed myself.  But, with a hot shower, lots of tea and a good night’s sleep….I felt great the next morning.  Thankfully, I have now come to terms with the fact, that if I get sick, it doesn’t mean that I am not taking care of myself, I just need to continue taking care of myself to prevent getting sick in the future.

Cheers to good health!

Thus, in continuing with eating all-naturally, below is a food chart of what I am going to eat this week.  I am particularly looking forward to the shrimp jambalaya!

I am also feeling the onset of a cold today but fighting it something mad. This morning I guzzled some Emergen-C, did a ballet workout and will be filing up on fruit all day. My husband is sick so it may be inevitable (I can’t resist kissing him) but I am trying. I hope you kicked it too!
