Although I have been completely gluten-free since the New Year (and I am loving it), I still stand by GG Bran Crispbread. These crackers are 12 calories per slice and each contain 5 grams of fiber! Even though they taste like cardboard alone, with tasty toppings these crackers can actually be transformed into a fantastic afternoon snack that keeps you filled for a couple hours. If you are looking to cut a few pounds, these crackers are the best way to do it. And they only contain four ingredients, which means they are (relatively) unprocessed ad all-natural.
I first discovered these crackers when I was working at the New Yor Post. The Post ran a story featuring the women who made these crackers into a diet and these crackers were their secret to looking good. Since they were attractive, I decided to give them a try to see if they actualy work. I can confidently say that I was full after eating these and they are certainly a natural laxative!
However, you MUST have a topping on these crackers; I recommend sunbutter and jelly, pizza sauce and cheese and/or cream cheese and smoked salmon. Despite the bland and dry taste, I still recommend eating these if you are looking to increase your fiber intake and drop a few pounds- relatively quickly and easily. They can be purchased at Whole Foods or any organic stores, so if you live in an urban area they are super easy to locate. If you live in the suburbs, I would recommend just buying them online.
Have you ever tried these? What do you think of them?

This is for you! http://yourinnerfeathersbyruby.wordpress.com/2013/01/12/another-blog-award-thank-you/ Have an amazing Saturday!
I definitely need more fiber, so this would be a great alternative to rice cakes! And, luckily I have a whole foods near me, too! I love that store! thanks for sharing
I have been eating them for over 10 years but the packaging and the nutritional information has changed. I could not get them for the last month (not sure why) so I have ordered the NEW Fiber Rich+ product that just came out. The nutritional information is almost identical to the GG crackers and they taste similar but better (in my opinion). I ordered the regular and the sunflower seed. The sunflower is pretty awesome even plain with no topper.
A glass of pure fruit juice, bananas, yoghurt, low-calorie muesli with semi skimmed or skimmed milk, fresh fruit salad with few spoonfuls of low fat yoghurt, fresh and raw veggies mixed with flavoured yoghurt, a slice of toast or plain bread with eggs, boiled or poached are some of the options for breakfast. Kids can enjoy a Smoothie with their favourite fruits; add dash of yoghurt or honey to make it more delicious.:
