Downton Abbey Inspiration

I love everything about this show!  So much that I now find myself drinking tea out of tea cups rather than coffee mugs, sitting up straighter each time the show crosses my mind and attempting to speak more eloquently.  This, somehow, makes me feel more aristocratic :)

It just so happens that everytime I sit down to watch this show, I am curled up on my couch in a big sweatshirt and yoga pants…not exactly feeling elegant and chic.  I always end up vowing to myself that I am going to start dressing up and wearing heels, hats and gloves more often.  I have been attempting to work with my current wardrobe to make this happen, but mainly I have been focusing on the new clothes I would like to buy! Apparently, I am not the only one who wants to take styling ques from Downton Abbey, it looks like a lot of designers are as well.
